  • Did you notice the cat's eyes were the same color as the car.

  • i found a 1968 california spacial

  • AYE MAN THATS THE GREEN SABRE!

  • That was so detailed. As someone who in his teens would have died for a 69 Chevelle SS with at 396 I loved watching this!

  • The spirit of the old man was in the cat

  • Amazing car but 65k? I have a bridge to sell you.

  • Awesome Barn Find 🔥

  • the cat is sooo cute ^_^ hahaha

  • That Cat is soooo cute

  • Sweet ride :-) 1 year younger than myself.

  • i like shelby cat

  • 4 bolt 427 where the term "BULLET PROOF!" came from.

  • 68's lights went outboard due to Ralph Nader.

  • To see all these cars like this breaks my heart into a thousand pieces...

  • Amazing video, but it would've been the icing on the cake to at least hear the old girl run.

  • I thought these only existed in forza

  • Amazing ❤️❤️❤️

  • Damn! Sweet ride!

  • Wow what a find this is one of my top 5 dream cars of all time

  • what is with all the junk??????????

  • I see the link Thanks .Rock On!!!

  • Well is it done and on the road?

  • I am not sure I agree with others who feel this was an ethical transaction. If you wanted to make sure you treated the Widow fairly, you could have cleaned it up and had the appraiser write a complete report, then place it in an auction with a reserve at your 65,000. Then you could have required the widow agree to pay the expenses out of the sale precedes and if asked for an a fee for your time if you were not the successful bidder. You are free to tell yourself you did right by her but Shelbys are known to go well over a million to a million and a half. So how do you really know fair market with exposing it to the market?

  • Bro they took my fucking grandpas gt

  • A bygone era I miss. I drove and restored a 1970 fastback. Times change, appreciate the past but embrace what's coming: the future. Nice video. Thank you.

  • 4:38 You guys realize the cat is the reinCARnation of Carroll Shelby, right? He goes around to places like this making sure guys like you find his creations and brings them back to life.

    • Hey, now that one I like. I did articles on Carroll and his cars for over 35 years. He once asked me if I was following him around the country when I showed up almost every event he went to. Sure miss Carroll.

  • 1:14 Holy $#!+ snacks! I just came in my shorts!

  • The most undeserved car owners of all time. What a shame!

  • Nice cat!

  • Thank you for finding and restoring a piece of Motor history What a find!!.. Shelby ❤️thank You for watching over Shelby

  • guy buying it seems like a douche.

  • 6:18 - "I came to Earth, spaceman." LoL. So true. Enthusiasm is great, but not always on the wallet. Having that expert restorer there is wise. P.S. - That cat's stealing the show!

  • I would have paid the lady the 70 grand if she agreed to let me poke through the barn a bit more to find those parts which I can bet for sure are all there,my mom and stepdad are hoarder's and only folks that lived through that are experts on how those people think and how their thought process works when it comes to "Stuff",plus the Cat will keep you company while you look😀

  • Why i pay a fortune for an old car? I prefer new comfort new car with all new features

  • 5:46 He's had every nut and bolt in his hands. I found this funny but I don't know why.

  • price of the car at 20:45

  • Boomers and their gas gusslers...

  • какой красавец

  • This is why I date older men...

  • Jeez, youd think we were looking at Shakespeares pen or something-its only fr 1967!!

  • I love barn finds it’s crazy to think how many cars right now are in barns that are worth a good penny and the owners never even know most of the time great barn find!!

  • Barns are awesome

  • the most forget, that he will have invest minimum 40k to it, that it is in perfect condition again.

  • The appraiser knows more about this car than I know about everything in life 😂😂

  • Hot Damn!!! Shelby kitty too!!!😁😁😁

  • nice find guys ... like to see an update with restoration complete

    • I think we can handle something like that - uzfire.info/camera/video/g324iZh81sp-nK0

  • Don't like the title of this, this car is not a barn find. The late gentleman who owned it put it there, therefore never lost, whereabouts of the car always known. Hence NOT A BARN FIND!!

    • @Jerry Heasley or it belongs to an gentleman that get to I'll or/and old. With the very human intention of one day getting it back on the road but sadly dies before he gets chance. No that's not a barn find, it's probably being Titled as a barn find by executor's that have no clue what they are talking about to sell off because our greedy disgusting incapable government think they are entitled to a pay out ASAP. No it belongs to the dear old boy that parked it on that barn. NOT A BARN FIND.

    • Really? The whereabouts have to be unknown to everybody? I see a car all dusty, parked in a for decades, I think barn find.

  • title should read CSI - Shelby GT500

  • How much for the cat?

  • I think i creamed my pants more than once when the dirt was being washed off and saw the beauty under it :O

  • Always goes to some damned collector! Never to see the light of day nor ripping ass gown the road.

    • I can understand your frustration with restoration (same here), so I wish you had watched the video. Bob told us he wanted to drive the car, then take a gander at the follow up restoration and driving, video of this Shelby, including a burn out, - video on this same channel. I think you will cheer. See if this link works - uzfire.info/camera/video/g324iZh81sp-nK0

  • Yeah a guy in odenville al has over 45 mustangs from 65 to 2013 of all kinds. Very rare ones

  • I Had The Same Number Too 😎

  • Dope Shelby, terrible commentary 👎🏽

  • wow all these trash junkers are worth millions and millions of dollars, if i were you, forget about the Shelby restore buyer and his appraisal guy. total b.s. I take a video and pic put up at the Sotheby Auctions, some rich guy buyer won the auction will send his "insurance co." to pick it up.

  • 70k spot on appraisal once renovated 159k

  • Eleanor in a barn. My dream car. How lucky this guy is to find her.

  • pretty wild, guys know their stuff....

  • Reminds me of Forza Horizon

  • Automobile hoarding.

  • I swear this appraiser is a god of knowledge

  • Shelby stole the show! Shelby the cat that is! Great video!, thanks for sharing your journey with us! Peace and God bless

  • Serious overlap on the collector/hoarder Venn diagram.

  • That would be one satisfying wash!! An absolute labor of love!!

  • Direlect part retrieved

  • There must be 100,000,000 barns in the world, as often as I read barn find.

  • The thing that wasn't shown in the video is that when he offered her the $65k, she laughed for over 30sec and told him the get the fuck out of her property. 😆

    • We learn in the restoration video on this channel that she also had an appraisal, and it was less.

  • I am waiting to some day find Jeff’s barm!

  • Who the hell stacks wood planks and steel parts ON TOP of their collector car

  • Wtf, guys apart from the actual story, your storytelling is reaaaally bad. All those jumpcuts in the middle of the sentence into a completely different random action. Holy cow. Please try to stay consistent and have some kind of string going through the story instead of a bazillion cuts.

  • I can't drive I just like Barns.

  • Is this Forza Horizon?

  • Dude you're really amazing for getting that car appraised. You know you could have walked away with it for nothing.

    • Watch the restoration video. She also had another appraiser.

  • After restoration, it is suitable for viewing, because not for driving, scrap on wheels for suicides.

  • Wow!!!! I found a 73 Mach 1 in a barn back when I was 21 years old and bought it for 1200 bucks!!! I drove that thing until I got married then traded in for a 1992 Toyota truck 4x4! Omg I still kick myself everyday for that!!

  • There's more such less and less valuable stuff rotting in stables.

  • Staged

  • The money shot is that the woman wants a lot of money for it.

  • Must be nice to have a car collection. Spending $65000 and laughing. Whatalife

  • the Road Runner, Falcon and Shelby, even in condition they in, gotta be worth at least (saying this before hearing Shelby value) $100,000 we have 3 full serve gas stations in our community and their 'per gallon' price only a cpl pennies more that self-serve, so for an extra 40 cents, I never have to get out of my truck edit, wholesale $60,000, retail $70,000 (my initial value was also based on the Shelby having correct short block)....my initial statement maybe about $10-15,000 high, depending on shape of the Road Runner and Falcon

  • Don’t like the fat guy buying it.

  • Shelby the cat was so so so beautiful!

  • Never much [if any] history on the owners of finds like this. Who he was, how the car wound up where it is etc. That stuff would be interesting but no one ever picks up on it. They only made 2000 or so of these...should be easy to add a little bio of the buyer.

    • @Jerry Heasley Thanks for answering. It really adds to the history. As long as the families don't mind.

    • Got a little about him in the story and follow up restoration video, maybe available on a follow up - thanks for letting us know of your interest in this.

  • I wonder how much the appraiser cost.

  • 6:37 lol

  • Hmm. It's Forza Horizon 4?

  • Nice find Bob! Small world, normally see you in the form 1 community.

  • more than 5K for that pile of rust is madness

  • Nice

  • The cat is a cool cat

  • Very interesting appraisal and it pays to have the top expert on board for knowledge is power... Getting it back to be an honest restoration and keeping the originality is the way to go - Enjoy this wonderful car and drive it.

  • I don't know anything about cars, never owned one, probably never will, but I stilled enjoyed this video!

    • because everybody can enjoy the backstory, so thanks for bringing this out!!

  • how could you do that to this car

    • @Jerry Heasley i mean why would you let a work of art like that rot in a dirty old garage

    • watch the restoration video of this car on this channel and find out

  • The narrarator has the most anticlimactic personality ever.

  • i went to woodstockk in-1969.in-a-shelby hich iking

    • @Jerry Heasley hi-my-friend-Jerry-it-was-very-new.wripe-lemon-colour--two-door-very-spacious-back-seat-c44omfortable-youthsthe-owner-steppep-on-the-Gas,i- felt-i-was-in-a-lamborguini.-or-race-car ferrari.i-have owned GTO,camaro-and-used-mustang,never-able-to-get-Shelby-feeling-nor-sound.-sorry-scratch

    • Interesting, hitchhiked a ride in a Shelby? Remember anything about the car - model year, color, a Mustang?

  • great-noise

  • guy-knows-his-stuff---Shelby

  • Why did American pickers didn’t find that car in their home state I can’t believe it pawn stars only got the frame so you hit pay dirt that’s why you save the dirt cool
