  • Rupert Murdoch needs to take a very hard look at the damage that he and his "news" has done to the world. Shame on him and his 3 ring circus 🎪.

  • There are many ignorant warmongers in the world and even some ignorant leaders of countries. They had no idea of the power of a fusion bomb.In 1953, the Soviet Union detonated the first hydrogen bomb in history, and it was also the deadliest test in history. This test in the Soviet union experts have halved the power hydrogen bombs RDS - 6, in the experimental field covers an area of 1.85 square kilometers, RDS - 6 were placed in 40 meters high tower, mushroom cloud diameter is 1 km, 4 km within the unit equipment were completely destroyed by the heat and impact, even Finland building Windows were shattered. The power of this test completely shattered the idea that the United States was planning a nuclear war against the Soviet Union and averted a nuclear war between the two superpowers. With that in mind, I can take you jerks to the moon and see what's going on here on Earth: Polar bears stare at the northern hemisphere from Siberia. The American eagle hunts all over the earth, North and South America, Europe and the Pacific Ocean.Pandas in Asia half close their eyes to the insects that fly around them, some even from the South Pacific or Europe. The American eagle has never really dared to annoy a bear or a panda, for he knows that though the eagle's nest is in a North American tree far away in the Pacific, polar bear's or the panda's claws can knock it down from the tree;If these two big guys put a fusion firecracker in their nest, they'll send the White House flying to the moon. So these three giants never worry about their own safety: polar bears worry about their territory and their offspring.Pandas are busy planting trees because they fear the bamboo forest will die.American eagles worry about rats, sparrows, rabbits, foxes, koalas and other prey entering bear dens or bamboo forests.Recently the panda built a railroad to plant trees across the continent. This is going too far.It leaving the American eagle to shout in the sky, chasing away the innocuous prey to harass the panda. It's our channel in Australia. What is Australia? I can't see it from the moon.Originally Australia will be very strange oh, fly to Asia, It is a long winged worm name AUS.

  • All I can ever think of when i hear the name Rupert Murdoch is a Chris De Burgh Song "the devil still cheats and wins more souls........." it is amazing how he became a billionaire by promoting hate, division and fear with creative news stories - the damage beyond measure his media empire is doing to democracy. Is this really legal?? And is this still freedom of speech???

  • I look forward to waking up to breaking news on Sky announcing that this POS has died. What a great day for the world this will be.

  • Right on the money!!... "deadly" Virus was spread by the media? Who owns the media? Advertised and promoted by celebs worldwide! Rupert wants a reason to declare war on China!!! Virus is just another flu related Virus.... How was the Vaccine created so fast? In just a few months when the flu vaccine took over 30yrs and still does not work! Its not a vaccine... But the antidote to Ruperts Virus!!

  • They see it better than we from outside!

  • Rupert Murdoch is America's Cancer!

  • Notice how the volume of this interview is turned way down? Why the partial censorship?

  • Murdoch was the model for the villian Carver in "Tomorrow Never Dies". Bond and Felix Leiter need to team up to defeat Murdoch this time.

  • Sad but true , power with out responsibilty and accountability only leads to destruction .Fox News does a better job For putin than Russia Television ( RT)

  • Why do they use a politician from a country to criticize a private businessman who has a means of communication with his own editorial line? Every time CNN says something controversial, will the other networks call the president of Israel to criticize the channel?

  • Nineteen fifty-two was so long ago that it can seem to us almost like ancient history. As the Korean War raged into its third year, and as the newly-ascended British Queen, Elizabeth ll, awaited her coronation, the ageing Stalin continued unchecked with his despotic rule in the Soviet Union, and Harry S. Truman was domiciled in the White House. In the long time span linking those days to the present, many millions of people throughout the world have been born and educated, have started and finished their working lives, have raised children, and, provided they remain healthy and able, are now helping those children to raise their own families. Hindsight makes 1952 memorable for one more reason: it was then, at the age of 21, that one Keith Rupert Murdoch assumed control of the struggling remnants of a formerly thriving group of newspaper companies (then known as News Ltd) upon the death of his father, Australian press magnate Sir Keith Murdoch. Rupert's closely-integrated journalistic, political and―above all―business strategies were at once unleashed on an unsuspecting world and have remained absolutely consistent ever since. Under his youthful editorship the major surviving Murdoch masthead, _The Adelaide News_ (which, along with a number of small local publications, was essentially all that was left) was subject to a thoroughgoing overhaul. Among other innovations, this involved its content being dumbed down and sensationalised in an appeal to the baser instincts of the newspaper-buying public. To the surprise of most in the industry and to the chagrin of some naysayers at the _News,_ in the group, and even among the Murdoch family, the changes were immediately and resoundingly effective in boosting circulation and restoring profitability. Thereafter the scion's dominant role was to be unquestioned. Having begun in Adelaide, the successful formula of bad taste, anti-intellectualism, jingoistic scare-mongering and scapegoating was refined and amplified as the resurgent Murdoch press, through the steady acquisition and transformation of other underperforming publications, recaptured and then surpassed its former position in the top tier of newspaper publishing in its homeland. The group further expanded to Great Britain in 1968 and the United States in 1976 before crossing over into the electronic media. Its proven content formula unarguably attained its highest (i.e., worst) expression in two British tabloids, _The Sun_ and the late, unlamented _News of the World,_ where routine unethical practices descended the slippery slope into blatant criminality (witness the phone-hacking scandal). While some quality broadsheets―namely _The Australian, The Wall Street Journal_ and _The Times_ (London)―did indeed join the growing portfolio of News Corporation (as the group was by then known), _The Australian's_ creation and the others' acquisitions were enabled by the established commercial success of its more popular and populist titles. The modern conservative ideology of authoritarian government and free-market economics to which Murdoch subscribes makes him a natural ally of the political right, and his media's default position is to support parties and individual politicians of that stripe. Ultimately, however, Murdoch has often shown himself to be the most unsentimental of pragmatists, readily transferring his allegiance to any force prepared to do his bidding by loosening regulatory constraints on his business interests or by tilting the playing field against his corporate rivals. Notably in Australia―with a smaller population than the other countries discussed here, and where his outlets enjoy a much greater market share―left-wing politicians at both federal and state levels have repeatedly been no less inclined than their counterparts on the right to avail themselves of such cosy arrangements when they are on offer. The same thing happened once in Britain, when in 1997 the Murdoch media campaigned strongly for the election of the Blair Labour government. But never expect an alliance with the News Corp supremo to be other than one of convenience: as soon as the electoral winds change you can be sure that he will strive to emulate Italy's abiding principle through two world wars of looking to align oneself with the anticipated victor. From Rupert Murdoch's transnational and transgenerational perspective the recently departed Donald Trump was but one of fourteen U.S. Presidents whose comparatively fleeting tenures strung together have coincided with his almost seven decades at the helm of News Corp and its earlier iterations. Having celebrated his 90th birthday last March, the veteran media baron―who, though relinquishing day-to-day operational control, still retains an overriding final say over all News Corp businesses across three continents―will as likely as not still be there when Joe Biden also has gone. When, as inevitably he must, Murdoch at last does exit the stage, it will be interesting to see whether his heirs and successors will be able to sustain the unparalleled success of the corporate media behemoth he has devoted his life to building.

  • Murdoch did so much damage to the free world, the man seems to have no conscious,a fine example for his family

  • fox news new is trump news

  • Yep, Murdoch is doing Putin’s bidding. Destroying the Western democratic alliance! The US (Trump), UK (Johnson) and Australia are in his spell!

  • Eat the rich.

  • Sorry to burst your bubble everyone, but in Australia here, most people regard Malcom Turnbull as pitiful sook who is so self absorbed that he is incapable of coming to the realisation that he was always a fraudulent conservative who then was dumped by his party and the electorate. Of course CNN will lap up his nonsense but no one in Australia pays any attention except the loony left. Good riddance Malcom and please spare us your constant need for attention. I'll stick to reading The Australian which is the only decent media outlet left in Australia.

  • Both Malcolm Turnbull and Kevin Rudd have been trying to get a royal commission organised regarding Murdoch press. 500,000 Australians signed a petition to bring this about. Our current PM Morrison is nothing but a corporate brown noser.

  • I would like to take this oppertunity, on behalf of all Australian, to apoologise to the Whole world for inflicting this vile POS upon the rest of the World, at large!! Sorry people!!

  • Murdoch is as sleazy as they come

  • don’t know if he peddles lies instead of truth because real news is more expensive to produce and therefore you can get a better return on our investment with the fake stuff. A medicine show hawker selling fake cures makes a good profit but does society great harm. Rupert’s media empire is selling fake news and his wealth give him enough power that he continues to get away with it.

  • Ah. Obviously the rude, arrogant phone call to Turnbull by trump on his presidency was tainted by Murdoch opinion of the then Prime Minister. Ding. Ding.

  • The problem that democracies have not been able to solve is that predators like Murdoch, Mercer. Sinclair, Arron Banks, Koch, make billions from the destruction of or the preying on social cohesion. Nietsze predicted it in 1860s.

  • I have always liked Mr turnbull for his honest and articulate way of analysing the facts, l worked for London in the UK for the ambulance service and was criticised for being brutality honest; but that is the way we Aussies are wired, we love and adore our American friends however BS is still BS no matter how you package it still looks and smells like a shit.

  • Well said Mr Turnball. Makes me miss Aussie frankness...no piss farting around the truth. Murdoch and his minions are drunk with power & until something is done there will be other Fox News copy cats springing up all over the world. The fact that Turnball says Lachlan is more extreme than his father is frightening!

  • What's the difference....Hitler's nazism, and Murdoch's nazism??????

  • let's get foreigners out of us media completely. Maybe he should be tried for crimes against the state...

  • well said his impact on the UK has been dragging us down for years including brexit he has been playing king maker too long

  • Just remember people, as prime minister Malcolm Turnbull led Australia's _right-wing party._ He's not some indignant socialist. He's a diehard conservative and under his watch Australia continued its practice of detaining refugees in secret concentration camps with a reputation for cruelty that would have made Trump proud, renewable energy was opposed and all legislation supporting it was dismantled, and gay marriage was legalised only reluctantly (and with the potential for religious discrimination baked into it) after being forced by a hugely successful plebiscite. This is the man who is criticising Rupert Murdoch and his corrupt media empire. Just think about that for a moment.

  • A view from Canada. Frankly, if Murdoch passed away today, it would benefit democracies. He's a warped person. A pariah. Our adversaries, China and Russia, in reality love Rupert Murdoch.

  • Murdoch empire is behind capitole attack, brexit and all the division in democracy. Divide to conquer, corrupt to get richer.

  • Murray and Bolt are going to sook up a storm.

  • Thank you Prime Minister for speaking the truth about Fox News, and the Murdoch clan ! They should lose their right to broadcast !

  • What an amazing video. This guy is t telling the sad truth is

  • Absolutely true!

  • How do we get politicians like this?

  • Fox News is undiluted filth💩💩💩

  • This was started by another former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

  • Fox is a joke and I would not watch that clown school of Losers because they don`t tell the right news. Rupert Murdoch is a big joke like Trump.

  • Well they are friends of the royal family.

  • Rupert Murdoch IS the Patriarchy. Patriarchy is a system & it’s opposite is EGALITARIANISM. Murdoch sells power & access to it.

  • Time for the cable distributors to take action

  • People seem to think one side is the truth, the other lies, that is the lie.

  • With all the lies you've been caught spewing, I don't buy a word.

  • For our American and British friends: this is a former PM from the Right/conservative side. Another former PM from the left, Kevin Rudd, has also expressed concern about the outright lies and political manipulation machine of the Murdoch Empire. When you have both Left and Right in common agreement about you, you know you are the ultimate evil.

  • You had your chance when you were Pm Unlike Whitlam you're gutless

  • To any who may be curious, Turnbull was a PM for the Liberal party (Australian equivalent of the Republicans) this party obviously gets more favourable press from the Murdoch’s and it makes it far more significant that he is speaking out the way he is.

    • No, it really doesn't. Thanks for weirdo-splaining though

  • Faux Newz commentators are a bunch of claques, and Fox Noose is Claque Central. Claques are mercenaries that are hired by, and are paid to applaud, Bad Actors [like those currently constituting the repub party]. Since Faux is populated with professional prevaricators (and any ‘nuggets of truth’ they salt, into the claims they make, generally prove to be Iron Pyrite anyway); It’s a total waste of time listening to any of them, and any honest person would do well to ignore them completely. Why? One of the 1st things they teach you in B-school: "Time is every entity's most precious commodity. You can always buy more of factors 'X,Y, & Z', but you can't buy more time." You can only use the time you're allotted well. Time spent down 'Roopie's Rabbit Holes' is totally wasted. When Murdoch's audience finally realizes that Murdoch is the 'Paladin of Perfidies', (and that even a fool, or an idiot, refuses to listen to a liar) his audience will just fade away. And so will the 'Roop' and his ilk. Like the Yellow Journalists of yore, in the fullness of time, they will fall out of fashion. Murdoch has copied the 'Yellow Journalism' formula practiced (by William Randolph Hearst, etc.) in the newsprint of the 1890's, and transferred it to electronic media (putting it 'on steroids'). And sure, that Yellow Journalism formula built Murdoch a media empire (just the same as it built that moldering mausoleum - San Simeon) but eventually, who listened to anything Hearst had to say, or subscribed to one of his rags, or even dared to quote it in polite company? Why isn't Faux Noose very popular in Western Washington State? Any edifice constructed using a 'Tissues of Lies' doesn't hold up very well in a Seattle downpour. How can You tell Murdoch comes from Australia,? He's very fond of pulling the wool over people's eyes. So why did he have to leave Australia? Because it's not full of 'sheeple'. In the end there's only one answer to Murdochian Mendacity, and the house of cards it's built: "Rosebud".

  • Rupert Murdoch is from Australia. He's been singlehandedly destroying the brains of half of America. Someone needs to see if there are strings between him and Putin

  • Can you not use the term "put on blast"? You're CNN, not TMZ. Maybe act a little more professional.

  • I’ve been saying this for ages, about Rupert Murdoch. And Malcolm Turnbull was a conservative Prime Minister.

  • Turnbull’s questions also apply DIRECTLY to the UK.

  • Touché to James for standing up against the psycho family oligarchy.

  • We all saw it and we’ve been seeing it and witnessing it globally since before the 2016 election. Now have the balls to take on Murdoch and put an end to his tactics. Power and Control are narcissistic traits. Trump was his play toy, another vulnerable narcissist.

  • It’s about time. This should be done globally.

  • Some families in Afghanistan, I once read, would have one son fight for the government and one son fight for the rebels; so whichever side won, they would have a family member on the winning side to help them out, whoever the winner turned out to be.

    • Ur untrusting nature exhibited on the Murdoch sons is so refreshing

  • Why Do I Call It ‘Fox Noose’? I call it Fox Noose because it reminds me of the horse-hair bird snares Scots [Murdoch is Scottish... isn't it?] used to set to trap seabirds [there’s not a lot of big game in the Hebrides]. How?: Get at least a dozen horse hairs about a foot long and tie a noose (Like one you’d put on the end of a lariat) at one end of each hair. Tie all the hairs together (at the end opposite the noose). Get a board (Ex: a weathered old piece of flotsam) and secure the tuft of horse hairs to the center of it (Noose ends out). Put some bait (say some nice, juicy, entrails) in the Center and arrange the horse hair ‘nooses’ on top of it. A sea bird flies over, sees the delicious entrails, decides to snatch them up (before some other critter swoops down and beats him to it) and ends up being in the thrifty Scotsman’s dinner: ‘Sea Gull Soup’. The moral of this story is that Fox Noose maintains it’s in the business of delivering “Fair and Balanced News”, “The Truth, That You Can’t Get from the Main-Stream Media”, served up in a ‘scrumptious’ Propaganda Pie [They do, however, conveniently fail to mention that that same pie has been beneficently provided by the wanna-be ‘Aristocrats’, the would-be ‘Lairds’, of this country (you know, the titled ‘Nobility’ our Constitution specifically bans*)]. But beware, that’s not good ol’ American ‘Mom’s Apple Pie’, it’s Umble Pie [like they used to serve the peasants in the old country (pie made from the cast-off entrails of some poor, unfortunate, varmint the Laird slaughtered in a, hopefully, recent hunt)]. In other words: It’s, basically, a repulsive Pile of Guts [which is just plain Offal (as in Tripe)] that's been carefully camouflaged, dressed up, and garnished, to Inveigle the Easily-Gulled.

  • capit-oll :/

  • *Paraphrasing the former Australian Prime Minister, he’s saying that Murdoch/Fox news is doing exactly what Putin’s been doing! And Trump and republicans are doing it too!* *And besides bolstering Putin’s desires to destroy trust in our democracy the Murdochs and republicans are advancing right wing white supremacy!*

  • I was saddened to learn that the son is worse than the father. I had hoped that things would change for the better when a new generation took over but no, will only get worse.

    • I was saddened when I saw how you and yours turned out too, but I largely kept it to myself

  • MR MURDOCH THE CAT IS GETTING OUT OF THE BAG OF LIES THE TRUTH WILL SINK HIS SHIP OF PIRATES.& FOOLS. ⚔☠🌷😩😅😄🤣🛡

  • The FCC needs to revoke Fox's broadcast license in the United States. There is no FOX news, what it is, a propaganda machine, no news involved, News is the who, what, where, when, and how, Not opinion.

  • COMMUNIST NETWORK NEWS INFORMATION PROVIDED BY OPERATION MOCKINGBIRD/CHINA 🇨🇳

  • Good to him for speaking up. Very eloquently spoken.

  • REGULATE THE MEDIA! Jesus fucking christ.

  • Would happily vote yes to law to delete the Murdoch family from media ownership. By their own actions, they have shown that they do not deserve the right to that privilege. Looks like the Aussie politicians, both left and right, are going to make that happen, just like they successfully did with their gun laws. No more mass shootings in Australia since that was done. Well done Australia.

    • @Jang Les Good one ....

    • I'd do the same for CNN. They are admitted propaganda

  • Too true! Is the US going to do something about the ghastly faux news??

  • One of Murdochs sons, James left his empire, that says it all. January 6th was an attempted coup, nothing less, democracy was nearly lost.

  • Malcolm Turnbull has got this dead right! The ramifactions for Australia are real.

  • Billionaires should not be allowed to have a monopoly on mass media news networks or news papers!! As a matter of fact, billionaires should not have a monopoly on anything of it will disrupt the lives of the people!

  • This guy didn’t even live in America and he knows more about what’s going on here than our elected leaders!!! Smdh

  • 6:47 Trying to make a metaphor with the example of sex being an "urge"... To an American... Hopeless... ;-) Respect for being brave to make his valid opinion loud, but he really shouldn´t try to judge what´s in Putin´s mind, cause for that, he still is too small and insignificant (intellectually)...

  • Lachlan Murdoch MORE right wing than his father! Eff.

  • Well Done, Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. Bravo, The Murdochs are trying their best to kill democracy in the US, UK & Australia. All this to gain power & money.

  • Rupert Murdoch is a sociopathic narcissist - whom has built his evil empire wealth through divide and conquer. We now have a western world (USA, UK and Australia) that has a high amount of mental health issues relating to his hateful false misinformation - thus creating lack of trust and decency in society - while empowering narcissistic and corrupt Governments.

  • Thank you, I've been saying this for years and years . Murdock should never been allowed to get a license from FCC ,shame on us.

  • There should be labels and Fox should not be allowed to be able to call themselves "news" or "journalism".

  • known about him for years........noobs

  • How did the world allow things like this to happen? Right wing governments that gave 100% freedoms to the media?

  • Rupert Murdoch controls FOX in US , SKY in Australia and other media in the UK , they are creating Fake News and Chaos around the world and in the 5 eyes countries .

  • And that's why he's the former prime minister

  • Margaret Thatcher allowed Murdoch to get a stranglehold on the British media because she thought he would always back the conservatives. He was a big influence for brexit to the detriment of the UK.

  • Read a book called Propaganda by Edward Bernays. It is free as a pdf through Google. Bernays is sometimes called the 'father of public relations'. He discusses just how amorphous and pliable we the people are when fed the correct propaganda messaging.

  • I am no fan of Turnbull but this is absolutely fantastic!! Not just Murdoch but Sinclair Radio and other partisan radio hacks. Between them they have totally screwed with the minds of boomers across America.. These evil people are playing power games for the sake of it with the lives of millions. Lachlan and Rupert Murdoch are fascists who only believe in increasing their own share of power.. These billionaires have been meddling with African and Middle East politics for decades and now they have turned that experience into a stick to beat Western democracy with!

  • Perfect wording market for crazy, explains trump and Murdock making money off marketing crazy trump

  • "A market for crazy", that says it all. Oh and as of 3:14am 04/21/21 424 Fox viewers hate the truth, say what you will about CNN and we all have said it more than once CNN hit the nail on the head with this story.

  • he is trash

  • United Nation should just go after the Murdoch clan, along with the current US government now. Take away all their control media and destroy their wicked ways.

  • Media is the most corrupt entity

  • Thank you Mr. Turnbull!!! It is so refreshing to hear Murdoch called out.

  • On behalf of Planet Universe.....sorry. And Fox says the China Virus is the problem. Please people, read a book. do your due diligence. I'm old, a biracial frontline Medic and RN from Minnesota....proof FINALLY WE as a WHOLE are moving FORWARD. PLEASE BE WELL :)

  • People were warned about Murdoch 50 years ago, but money talks.

  • Yes, but what was Murdock or any other instigator to gain by Scumbag Trump being resident agai?, that has to be asked of all the bad actors.

  • Pure Evil Family. Greedy.

  • Bring back "The Fairness Doctrine". The loss of the "Fairness Doctrine" in broadcasting has led to the demise of good journalism. Fox News Should be required to rename themselves to Fox Entertainment of Fox Newsless. Nations without fairness in broadcasting have led to news becoming propaganda. The propaganda often leads to extreme views and violence. Think of North Korea, Nazi Germany, Mussolini's Italy and Franco's Spain. The most recent example I can think of is the Rwanda Genocide where the ruling Hutu Tribe belittled the Tutsi Tribe to the point where the Tutsi were thought of as less-than-human vermin. Eventually, it became perfectly acceptable to kill a Tutsi (similar to the Nazi's attitude to Jews). If you Google, "Hate Broadcasting and Violence" you'll get many examples of the effects of broadcasting sans fairness. In the name of "Free Speech" the US has been fostering a culture of hate that will lead us to greater domestic violence. I don't know the answer to correcting this polarization. Perhaps, with today's technology, lies could be flagged immediately and linked to facts. Perhaps, only the top ten broadcasters could be policed. Perhaps, only those organizations practicing the Fairness Doctrine voluntarily (e.g., PBS, BBC) could call themselves "News Stations", the others would need to change their name to "MSNBC Entertainment" or "Fox Entertainment". Perhaps policing fairness could be economic, where those that incite violence are sued out of business. Perhaps, it could be a combination of many measures. History demonstrates this truth: Hate broadcasting invites vigilantes to run amok in the streets.

  • Fox News is the mouthpiece for various terrorist organizations. Why that network hasn't been shut down is beyond me.

  • The Murdoch unrelenting attack on American Democracy echoes in the Free World. Where is their Homeland Security?

  • LOL who makes the scripts for these people?

  • LMAO he just said and repeated just what CNN and MSNBC and all lame stream media repeat over and over lol hes a drone.

  • In the battle of good and evil the Murdochs are Satan himself. Pure, black-hearted, cynical evil.
